| Idk, i feel like we need a thread giving our honest reviews about the album well first of all you rate thw whole album, and your write your whole review about EACH song. I'll post mine first so you guys can get an ideaaa. :]] Overall Album Review = 8/10Heartbreak on Vinyl;; Im not saying it's horrible, but i much prefer blakes other stuff. But it has a nice, techno- upbeat sound to it, and i really like that about the song. But who knows, maybe this song will grow on me. Love or Tourture;; Kinda Impressed with it. I Honestly like his older version better than this one but. Tissawlgewd! xD Binary Love;; Cute song. Not gonna lie. He would actually do very well if he let it out as a hit. Sad Song;; FAVORATE SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM<333333. I LOVE IT SOSOSOSOSOSOSOOOO MUCH!!! IT'S PHENOMINAL! I CAN LISTEN TO IT FOR HOURS! *SQUEE!* Afraid;; Eh, once again. Not my Favorate. It's actually one of my least favorates. The Remedy;; Slightly Sounds like Afraid, so once again, not really that crazy about it. Our Rapture of Love;; Hmm.. Intresting. Very Techno-ey. Freak;; I actually kinda like it. Makes me wanna do a little danceeee. :] Left my Baby for you;; eh, to be honest with you, i dont like it. Rhythm of my heart;; I actually REALLY like this. Brings me back to Blake's A.D.D days in some strange way. But definitally positive !! The Point;; Kinda a bore. no offence blake ! :O Rebel without a cause;; Favorate song on this whole album. : D SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic ! GAVE ME A BLORGASM.So yeah, thats my Album Review. Honest, and straight to the point. I wasnt that impressed, but it was most definitally worth the wait. :] _________________ no world for tomorrow.

| :] Nice honest review Fab! Heartbreak on Vinyl; Hands down...my FAVORITE. I am so utterly obsessed with this song. The first time I heard it, I was laying on the floor next to the speakers SCREAMING/SINGING at the top of my lungs after I learned the words a little. Love or Tourture;; Suuuuper catchy. I love the PLEASEDONTSTOP! part. Binary Love;; Definiteeely one of my top favorites now. It definitely wasn't my favorite after first listen, but it grew on me so much since then. The concept is so cute. My kid sister actually got the concept after one listen.. she was like "what, is he supposed to be a robot or something?" and i was like YES EXACTLY!!!!!!!!! Sad Song;; Eeeh, not my favorite but still enjoyable. Afraid;; This song is constantly stuck in my head, so whether I know it or not, it's probably a subconscious favorite. The Remedy;; I love the beginning little part. "This is a rememdyyy..." The lyrics aren't my favorite but it's super catchy. Our Rapture of Love;; SO SEXY. Enough said. Freak;; Like Fab said, makes me wanna dance. Left my Baby for you;; EEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! ILOVETHISSOFUCKINGMUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the ending few seconds make my heart melt. Rhythm of my heart;; I loove this one. It's so calm and seductivee. The Point;; EEEEP, like..my third favorite or something like that. I think it's so fricken cuteee. My mom loves it too. Haaha. Rebel without a cause;; My ipod played this song as my alarm clock this morning, and I realized after waking up to it, that this song is absolutely awesome. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic ! Ehh, you know. I think Blake's beatboxing tracks never do his ability justice, but still cool ! Overall 9.2/10 Hahaha, 9.2. Idk. I love it soo fricken much. And the unbelievable songs that I love totally cancel out the ones that I dont particularly care for. !!! _________________ The black keys never looked so beautiful; & a perfect rainbow never seemed so dull. |

| Heartbreak on Vinyl: I love this song. It's not my FAVORITE on the album, but it's unbelievably catchy and just great overall. Binary Love: ILOVEOMG! From what I've heard [I just started playing it, [x haha] I'm a fan. It has a really nice vibe and ish. Left My Baby For You: I always catch myself singing this song! Like Jaclyn said about Afraid, it's probably a subconcious favorite just cause I'm always singing it. I love the high "ILEFTMUHBABEHFORYEW" [[x and the beginning is way awesome, too. Rebel Without a Cause: Not a favorite. It's just alright for me. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurnatableLicious: Blake's beatboxing tracks are always so cool. He's amazing in everyway. | Oooh I wanna do one! Heartbreak on Vinyl - This song is SO catchy and fun, I love singing to it, it'd definitely the most solid pop song on the album. I could see it being a single, I just think the lyrical content really isn't for everyone ya know? Who can relate to record stores closing and being emo about it hahaha. Only Blake. Binary Love- This is the best song. It's so good. Perfect. It's sweet and nerdy, the beat is sick, it's a great dance song. Freak- First few listens I thought i didn't like this one, but I really do. The beat is great, it also gives an amazing visual. I can picture that scene going on in a dance club for sure. Sad Song- Honestly, after hearing the rest of the album, this is probably one of my least favorites. I feel like it's a bit over produced. I think I enjoy the remixes more than the original. Rhythm of My Heart - This is my least favorite song. I really don't like it! Something about it grates on my nerves, and the lyrics are cheesy. " i was meant for you, you were meant for me..." IDK hahaha. I think it also sounds a little too urban for Blake. Afraid - This song is great, it reminds me of Chris Brown, and kinda like how Jesse McCartney is working his stuff these days. I could see this on Top 40 radio. It's also very well produced Left My Baby For You - This is my favorite track! I love how it mixes dance music, with sad emotional lyrics. It really makes me sad to think about the situation, but then it makes me wanna dance, and I love the Prince vibe! Rebel Without a Cause - This to me seems like the most experimental track on the album, reminds me a little of drum & bass, maybe something you'd hear from KJ? I like the vocal mixing, it's interesting. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic - I was hoping for this to be more epic because of the title hahaha. But I do like that he did the scratching, and not just beatboxing it's different. But still, a big part f "blake" is beatboxing, would of liked an epic beatbox track. Our Rapture of Love - I didn't like this the first time I heard it at Pride, still not my favorite, but I have more respect for it. You can tell it means alot to Blake, and it is a well done song, I just wish someone else was singing it I guess. The Point - Bittersweet ballad. I kinda wish there was a epic smooshy love song like "I Got U" but I guess we can't have that on a break up album right? haha. But this is great, I like how it's stripped down, it's pretty much just him and a piano, I like that you can feel the pain and heartache. It was really great and sad live BTW I wish someone got video! The Remedy - I just love this song! It's so fun to dance to. Kinda makes you want to lose yourself in the music. I go back and forth between this and LMBFY as my favs Love or Torture - I always liked this song, I think I like the new mix a bit more it's just more dancy. I like that. I think it may be a bit too much. Haha do I hear rain in there and shiz? hahahah. But it is an amazing dance track, and I'm glad it made the album. Overall I LOVE this album. I think it's really solid. I think I have a more defined love/hate on this one than I did on ADD. There are a few songs on HOV I don't care for, but the ones I LOVE, I love so much more than any song on ADD. I don't think any of the songs on ADD were nearly as epic as the ones on HOV. It really makes me think differently about ADD. I like how he got to work with many different producers, yet still make a cohesive album. Each song is like it's own piece of art, they all work individually as well as together. 8/10 I'm so proud! I'm so glad he got this album out for everyone to hear, he should be very proud of it. _________________ |

EXXXTREMELY SAAAD and CUUUUUTE. && It also seems to go by really fast, the four minutes I mean, like it starts and then I sing and really listen and then BAM ; it's doneee. But yeahh. This song also helps me fall asleep. --IN A GOOD WAY.-- The Remedy;; What Jacyln said , the beginning really catches meee ! ILOVE to sing along to ittttt, one of the ones that grew on me and I always end up having a part of it stuckkk in my headddd ! Love or Tourture;; LOVELOVELOVE as well. 1:16 part = Best everrrr. Since I watched that video of him at that event and told every one to jump at the chorus part, I want to do that naooo ! Hahahaa. I have to. :] OVERRRALLL;; [9.5] NOTBIAS like Tinaa said tooo. | Ohhh I wanna do thiiiis. Heartbreak On Vinyl - I don't know what it is about this song, but it's so corny and so fricken catchy that I actually adore it!!! I could have this song on repeat and would not get annoyed of it. Binary Love - Just something about this one too that just makes me go EEEK. I adore this song so much. Freak - I'm not too too crazy about this song. When I mention other songs on the album, I always seem to forget about this one. Sad Song - Quiet honestly, proooobably one of my least favorite songs now after I listened to the whole album. I don't quiet understand why THIS of all the songs was chosen as the first single. Rhythm Of My Heart - Adore. Love. Obsessed. I can't stop listening to this song. Most definitely my favorite song on the album. I'm CRAZZZZZZZY about it. Afraid - Totally reminds me of something that could be on the radio currently. I like it at some of the points, and sometimes I don't. Mixed feelings on this one, but this one is more of a hit in my opinion than Sad Song. Left My Baby For You - Like it and don't like it. Just something about it that makes me go...ehhhh. And some of it makes me go ILEFTMYBABYFORYEWWWW in a high pitch voice hahahaha. Rebel Without a Cause - I do like this one a lot. It's really interesting and a tad different from the rest of the album. It stands out to me. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic - Quiet honestly, I expected a lot more for the fact that the track name is so cool and different. To me, it was a tad more of a bore compared to Bshorty Grabs Mic. It was good but it wasn't the best best either. Our Rapture of Love - So dark and emo. Kind of makes me sad in a way to be honest. The Point - You can really feel the pain in this song...it's really sad in my opinion. Like...he doesn't see the point anymore of it. That just slowly breaks my heart. The Remedy - Adore this song. I sometimes go for a walk and listen to this song and I just jump around and dance in circles as I'm walking on the sidewalk. I really love this arrangement and it grew on me right away. Love or Torture - LOOOOOVE what he did with this. I liked the demo a lot, and then he cranked up the bass on this one a lot and it made me want to dance until the 5 minutes were up. I'm crazy over this song...still! Overall : 9/10 (: _________________ [7/27], [10/12], [11/11], [12/27], [4/5], [5/23], [7/27], & [8/10] |

| Roch's revieewwwwwwwwww Alright, first and foremost of all, props to Blake for making this album stuck on repeat and seriously to consider one of the best dance albums of the year. And at first, I thought the album was going to be kinda emo-ish and stuff, but yeah it's like heartbreaking/breakup lyrics with a bumping beat and I must admit that electronic/dance music is totally my style, the kind of music I always listen to in everywhere, even in the clubs (Roch's allowed to club in Argentina, be jealous xD) so basically here are my reviews on each song of the album. Heartbreak On Vinyl: The opening track, and I totally love it! seems that most people who had an experience like seeing the stores closing down is like a total shock to your heart and it shows how important is music in Blake's life, one of my favorites Binary Love: IFUCKINGLOVETHISSONG, and seriously; the beat is sick, and I love how nerdy and seductive the song is, definately I can see this in the top 40 and totally as a 2nd single from the album. Freak: What can I say? LOVEEEEEEEIT, simply love it, it makes you wanna dance and sing at the top of your lungs Sad Song: Never gets old, but of course I prefer 'Binary Love' for a single choice Rhythm of My Heart: just like it, not my favorite. Afraid: Damnit, this song has been stuck in my head the whole day, I just can't stop listening and definately a good choice for a single, very Chris Brown, one of my favorites. Left My Baby For You : ILEFTMYBABYFORYOU,ILEFTMYBABYFORYOUUUU, no comment about this one, it's just very heartbreaking.. I can see his pain listening to the song, and the three last words 'it's my fault' it makes me melt. Rebel Without A Cause: My favorite song by far, it's been on repeat since this saturday, I just can't stop listening to it. Everyone who has been in a relationship can relate this song, and of course Blake's vocals are flawless in the track. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic : The tittle is so epic, and it never dissapoints, my fave interlude (Bshorty Grabs Mic! from A.D.D still love it) but this one is a WIN Our Rapture of Love: I LOVE THIS SONG, and even love it more when I go to sleep and listen to the song, there's something about his voice that makes you wanna sleep and feel that moment with him, very sexy; My favorite track from the album. The Point: Whoa, at first I broke down into tears listening to this song, it's Blake at his best in vocals, another favorite, it's a win. The Remedy: Oh God, there's something about this track that makes it addictive, I don't know why but I can see this also as a single, very Lady Gaga, reminds me of her single 'Just Dance' Love Or Torture (Please Don't Stop): IWANNAKNOWWHATGETSYOUHOT, seriously, Blake should sing more often these kind of songs. My favorite track from the two produced by Dave Aude 9/4-5 Simply love it! Blake never dissapoints, specially with this album, it really shows he's breaking out the idol box, he was truly born to be wild. And of course he's a Rebel Without A Cause who can take you into a Rapture of Love |

| This is such a good idea. I was actually gunna make this thread but you beat me to it... Haha! Heartbreak On Vinyl -- I really love how this isn't a love song. Like he wrote a song that wasn't about a relationship! I think that's why this is his favorite song he's ever written. :] Cause he's a master at love songs! But this is just so different. I love this song, at first listen I thought it was too cheesy and this thing like, grew on me!! I think this has the most playcounts on my iTunes. =] Binary Love -- The beat is SEDUCTIVE!! Haha omfg!! The beat is incredible. I can't listen to this song without dancing. This was my first favorite from listening to the whole album for the first time. It's actually changed now and my fav I think will change a lot over time. Freak -- Probably the sexiest song I've ever listened to. The lyrics. Sex. Haha omg. At first listen this song actually made me feel sexy. I love the beat "The beat is so strong, inside your eardrum" hahah so true, Blake. So true. And this song, I also can't listen to w/o dancing. hehe. Sad Song -- I... I'm starting to get sick of this song. But first listen, which was forever ago, I was like WOAH! Blake! I love this! Now I'm like, oh Sad Song. Yeah. xP Rhythm Of My Heart -- This is one of those that gets stuck in my head very easily. I really like it, it's a lot more pop than the others. Amazing production. So addictinggggg. And fun to sing! They're all fun to sing! Afraid -- Now, Idk about you, but this song actually does remind me of "Forever" by Chris Brown. But WAY BETTER! Non-biased. Seriously, like this song is one of these like Binary Love and Freak that I just have to dance to or at least sing along. The beat, bass and all that is incredible, I like how he beatboxes but it's hard to tell he does during the chorus. It goes along very nicely. Left My Baby For You -- I don't know how Bri can not like this song when she's like in love with 80's music. Haha!! This is the most 80's-ish song on the album, IMO. I love how he changes the whole album up and goes super falsetto. It shows how strong his voice really is! I also love the bridge part, where he goes "So I whisper sweet nothins to ya, baby please forgive me not." I cannot help singing along at that part! Hahaha. Rebel Without A Cause -- This gets stuck in my head SO easily too! I LOVE it! It's one of those that's growing on me a lot. I love the lyrics, beat, production. OH! and I love how reggae-ish it is!! His voice is now in another element in this. It's hot. x] OHHH!! haha and also I loooveee the part where it gets all glitchy and mish near the end. Reminds me of edIT! Great part. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic -- HAHAHAHA. Sorry. This track just makes me laugh. Not just the title. I just love how he's all like scratchin' it up. And it echos in your ears. Hahaha. Our Rapture Of Love -- I am in love with how he has a trance track on here. I have always been obsessed with "Transmission". I remember having "Transmission" be my lullaby. This song could totally be it's replacement. I could fall asleep to this beautiful song easily and it would make me so happy. The Point -- This is really like, oh what's the word... this song is very bittersweet. Yes. It's also kinda haunting. His voice is very powerful in this song. I love the guitar, he needed a little of that on here. :] I wanna see this live. I wanna see them all live. This song could be the crying song of the album. ;P The Remedy -- This one is also one that gets in my head easily. ALL of these songs get stuck in my head SO easily! Like I'll just be sitting in a class singing one of them in my head and then next class I'll have a different one in my head. It's quite lovely. ;D But anyways, I love this song, it's been growing on me! The chorus is very addictive. =] Love Or Torture (Please Don't Stop) -- Can someone say, PARTAYYYY!? I want to go clubbing every time I hear this song!! I just wanna be under lights and surrounded by huge speakers, and party. Hahhaa. This is my dad's favorite song on the album *inserts bad dad dancing*. XD But ya no, this is another that I can't stand still when I hear it. I love Dave Audé's production-help with it. Makes it a smash!! 10/10Idk why you guys are being so modest. LOL! I've basically adopted this album. It's now my child. And I will raise it like it is my baby. Hahaha. It came at a perfect time too, cause this past year I've gotten very heavily into dance/techno/house/etc music. And this being his first like real electronic album I've just fallen in love! If anyone ever asks me, what my favorite album is, my answer will be Heartbreak On Vinyl by Blake Lewis. And I have a feeling it will be like that for a long time. (Wow, this review took me 30 mins... LOL) _________________ [12-4-07] "I want a hug!" [11-7-08] "You need a chatroom." [11-11-08] "I almost cried seeing this." [7-21-09] Shayne's Art;; ♫! |

| I don’t think my review will be very popular. I listened to each track and typed up what I thought of it as it was playing. I tried to speak intelligently and describe the tracks, not just say whether or not I like them. If you don’t want to hear your idol be criticized, don’t read. I don’t want to be bitched at x[ Heartbreak on Vinyl:I really like the symmetry of the song and the vocal quality in general. Also, the lyrics are interesting and unique and I like how they’re not really top-notch/perfect. I guess I like the imperfections and quirky cheese of the song. The metaphor is kind of lazy, but I enjoy it. It’s cute. Binary Love:The vocals are the highlight of this song. It starts with ease and the vocals moves around just as easily, but without being too predictable. It’s a great listen and pleasing to the ears. Lyrically, I love it. It’s so cute and the metaphors work better than in HoV; they‘re very clever. One of my favorites on the album for sure. Freak:Catchy and very danceable. I love the monotony of the vocals. They balance well with the instrumentation. The verses aren’t quite as strong as the chorus, but the song is one of my favorites on the album also. I can just imagine this playing in a club with everyone jumping up and down. Lyrics are sexy and interesting. Sad Song:Great, unique opening moves into what makes for strong verses. The vocal quality reminds me of that in How Many Words. The chorus is very catchy and fun to sing along to. The lyrics aren’t the best on the album, but the song is very good and it’s definitely in the better half of the album. Rhythm of My Heart: This song is very 80s, and even kind of reminds me 90s boy band (in the opening mostly). The polyphony is interesting, but the beginning of the chorus annoys me a bit. Saying that, the rest of the chorus is very strong and stutter-effect makes it one of my favorite songs on the album. The lyrics are kind of “eh” but other elements save it for me. Afraid:Sounds a lot like everything else on the radio currently, mostly due to the vocal effects and phrasing. The song starts kind of awkward. The first time I heard it, I wasn’t a big fan, but it’s become one of my favorite songs on the album. I love the lyrics, especially in the chorus. Left My Baby For You:Very 80s. I don’t really like the vocal quality or the lyrics all that much. The uber-falsetto reminds me of the Paul McCartney song “Check My Machine” which is actually not a compliment lol (google it). I’m really not keen on this song. The phrasing and vocals in general sound kind of posh or something and it makes me laugh. Rebel Without a Cause:Again, very 80s, which I like about this album generally. But the vocals sound Jamaican -y to me. Or kind of like in his cover of “Roxanne.” Not a fan. The chorus is slightly stronger than the verses, but I’d rather not listen. The lyrics are actually a bit painful for me, I’m not sure why. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurnatableLicious:Lmao, Blake. Our Rapture of Love:I like the twangy rhythm throughout. The choppy vocals moving into stretching ones is very smart, because it helps eliminate some predictability. But the chorus just doesn’t do it for me. It feels disconnected from the other pieces of the polyphony. The Point:The beginning is pretty and soft and I find myself digging it, but by the first chorus, I’m bored. Honestly, melodically it feels like something Aladin should be singing to Princess Jasmine or something else. Lyrically, I like it, but I just can’t sit through the song. The Remedy:Love the opening a lot. The swooping effects keep it interesting and engaging. The chorus is very catchy and I like the choppiness of the vocals. The first time I heard it, I actually didn’t like it. But after a few listens, I really do like it. Love or Torture:Killer opening. I love it, it’s so imperfect and crackly, and then the vocals come in and it’s very sexy and it makes my foot tap. The call and answer in the verse is addictive, and then coming into the chorus. It has a bit of a video-game-esque quality which is typical in 80s I suppose. I also love the climbing and falling effect of the bridge. Really like it, it’s up there with the better tracks on the album. Overall?I’ll give it a 7, which technically by just looking at the numbers alone, is generous. But I can’t ignore just how brilliant some of the tracks are. So it gets bonus points. (heh...overall score might be a bit biased x] hehe) |

| Heartbreak on Vinyl:I was suprised by the bubble gum pop feel of this song the first time I heard it. Don't get me wrong, I liked it but it didn't seem like a Blake song. Needless to say it's a catchy song that is fun to sing along with. IMO a hit song is one that you just catch yourself singing randomly through out your day. Such is HOV. Binary Love:This is my fav on the record right now. The vocals, the arrangement the lyrics all add up and make this song a hit. Freak:I can't listen to this song without wanting to bust a move. The lyrics are sexy and fun. I'd bet money this song will be a dance club fav. Sad Song:Love that this is an uptempo sad song. It's almost a oxymoron. Very clever. Love the 80's feel to the track. It has an Erasure feel to it. Gotta love the video too! Rhythm of My Heart: This song kinda has a Backstreet Boys feek to it. It's got this sexy beat to it. More of a song to listen to and enjoy then a dance track. Afraid:LOVE this song. It's very current and danceable. The only thing I dont like is that it sounds alot like Forever by Chris Brown and Down by Jay Sean Left My Baby For You:I didn't care for this song the first few times I heard it but it grew on me and now is one of my favs. Very different vocal style for Blake. Fun and catchy. I promise you'll end up singing along. Rebel Without a Cause:This is one of my personal favs on the record. Has a Sting feel to it. Love the lyrics and Blake's vocals are warm, smooth and sultry. SuperScratchaVocalisticTurnatableLicious:What's not to love? Rapture of Love:This song has a real calming effect to it. Beautiful lyrics and smooth groove and seductive vocals. The Point:Not a stand out track for me. I need to give it a few more listens. The Remedy:This song reminds me of something straight out of the 90's. This is very mainstream. I can hear it on the radio. Love or Torture:Blake changed this track quite a bit but it's all good. Fun danceable song! Very catchy hook. Overall:I'd give HOV a 9.5. I'd like to just toss a 10 at it but I'm deducting .50 simply because I know I am 100% biased. This cd shoud be a best seller IMO. Blake has put together a great record full of hit songs. I really hope people will give it a chance. I know they won't be sorry... |

| Let me do one!!! I'm gonna be 100% honest whether yall like it or nottt haha. Heartbreak on Vinyl - I love thisss songg!!!!!!! Love the lyrics!!! Nicely donee!!! Binary Love- This song is soooooo blahhhhh!!! I find the beat very annoy! Me no likey this at all! Sowwyyy Blakeeee =] Freak- You all will disagree with me but this is the worst song on the album by a mile!!! I honestly can't listen to it! I took it off my ipod thats how much I dislike it. Not my styleee Sad Song- Lovee this! Typical Blake fersureee. I love the music video too. Just throwing that out there haha Rhythm of My Heart - Hmmmmmmmm this song isss okayy! Not a hugee fan. I find it boringgg. No hook to it at alll!!! Afraid - This is my second or third favorite on the album!!!! The second I heard it I was like WOAHHH!!! Thats the Blake I loveeee!!!! I can totally see this being played on the radio! Gosh even my sister likes it and all she listens to is rap shit. The album is worth buying for this song alone!!! It was the only song to immediatly grab my attention! But it's still not quite my favorite! Left My Baby For You - Interesting! Thats all I gotta say! Rebel Without a Cause - This song is weird!!! But I like that! I like the weirdness of itt!!! Not one of my favorite but still good! SuperScratchaVocalisticTurntableistic - Blake's a weirdoooo =] Our Rapture of Love - THIS SONG!!!!!!! is not my my favorite but something about it is like WOAH! I hated it at first haha. The same way I hate Freak but that's because I never gave it a chance. Well I personally think the is the most well put together track fersureee!!! The song builds up nicely! But theres one problem......there's no hook! I mean being a Blaker and all, I can get past that, as can the rest of you. But to the casual listener this song does nothing and is a waste of it's potencial amazingness. The end of the song sound very familiar thoughhh. The Point - AND HERE WE HAVE IT!!!!!! My favorite track on the album!!!!! WOOOHHOOO haha. Anyways this song is all kinds of amazing!!! Yeah it's sad but theres more to it than that. When it comes to vocals this song is the best! The lyrics are sooooo beautifull!!! (I told him that! Thats why he tweeted me last week) haha. Okay soo the verses are ighht! But the bridge and the chorus are what grab my attention. The Remedy - Loveee thiss song!!! Very ADDishh!!! Nice beat. Pretty catchy, well atleast compared to most of the other songs. Love or Torture - Hmmmmm. Well I was at the first show he played this at correct? Atleast I think so. But I loved when he played it live! It was soooooo good!!!! But whatever he did to it made me not like it anymore. It's too bad =/ Overall it's a great album. But he lacks the hooks in almost every song give or take 2 or 3. Which is something we don't notice because we all LOVEEEEEEE him. But it's the truth. This is the reason he's not very popular eitherr. You need a hook to capture the attention of the casual music listener. He had this same problem on ADD give or take a few songs. But he has gotten better when it comes to his voice and the way he puts this together. He's is very very very talented and creative! I'll give it an 7/10 I guess? ADD was better purely for the fact that I'm not a huge fan of dance music. HOV was worth the wait fersureee. & I can't wait to here him perform these songs liveee <3 Sorry for the typoss <3 _________________

| ^Hah! We both gave it a 7. I liked your review alot. I feel like everyone here let their bias shine through in their reviews lol. I agree about the hook thing too. Couldn't put my finger on it, but that's exactly it. |

| My father is a musician, so he's pointed out so many things to me over the years that I just can pick up on certain things lmaoo. When I showed it to him that's exactly what we said and that we all listen to Blake with "hearts in our eyes" as he put it so of course the majority of us love it. He has such potencial it's ridiculous, he just not using it right. _________________ |
