OhWoah; so Blake's been blogging about each GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour.
I just found em here (scroll down): http://www.sidekick.com/grammycelebrationtour_bos.aspx

GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Blog!

Blake Lewis

Quote:
Hi guys n gals, This is my first GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour blog! I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing tour with T-Mobile Sidekick and GRAMMY, and opening some of my favorite artists. A little insight to what I'll be doin here. Each week a different show/artist = each week a different Blake. Hahaha. Meaning this: I'll be DJ-ing/Emceeing at every show, plus remixing live, some of my favorite songs with my loop pedals and crazy vocal effects. I'll be tailoring the music to the specific artist each night. Going through Electro House/Breaks, to hip hop/Top 40, whatever I see fit for you to have a great time. I hope you all can come out and shake it on the dancefloor. Love, Peace and Beats!

So the GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick is a day away and I've been working all week getting tracks together for the huge party. I'm really looking forward to playing some new bangers I've got over the last month. Lots of new music coming out that must be heard.

It will be good to catch up with Leona. I haven't seen her since the Grammys. She and I met in the studio last year, when she was recording Bleeding Love with Ryan Tedder. He and I were working on my album Audio Day Dream at the same time as her.

I've been a fan of Gavin Rossdale since Bush and it will be great to finally hear him live. I've always missed him when he would come to Seattle.

I'll be playing some of my new tracks and beatboxing over some others as well.

Hope you can make it out to this eclectic show. Its going to be great!

Love, Peace, and Beats - Blake

Alright..... I finally got enough tracks dialed for tonight. This is gonna be a huge show. I think its almost sold out!! Make sure everyone you know that's going is bringing their T-Mobile Sidekick with them. We'll be giving away prizes and backstage passes all night long. It's pretty sweet how everything is set up for these shows.

I've been using a Sidekick since they first came out and I wish I knew about these shows a while back. I'm excited, cause now I get to help out with the entertainment. My favorite!

Hope you guys are ready for Gavin Rossdale, myself and my sista from the U.K. Leona Lewis, cause I'm pretty sure your minds will be blown.

I'll be posting many blogs over the next couple months with all these shows. Think of me as your guide... your entertainer extraordinaire or host with the most... or simply Blake.

Booyakasha?!

BL

Quote:
It's almost time for the show and I'm a frantic mess. Today has been the craziest day. I've been preparing for the show, had a studio session and my dog decided it was a good day to puke in my car. CRAZY!!! aahhhhh....

Hahaha. I've got my Chi focused and I'm ready to play some music. I'm really looking forward to playing at the Palladium. I hear they did a great job re-opening it and that tonight is almost sold out. Gavin is gonna rock it, Leona is gonna pop it, and I'm gonna funk it up! Boooooya. Make sure to bring your T-Mobile Sidekick and Twitter me during my set and I'll play you a song of your caliber - www.twitter.com/BlakeLewis. I hear that the cool kids at school are doing it. I guess that's okay, but I was never the cool kid.

Stay Nerdy!

BL

Quote:
Woooooooooow...... Last night was Ccazy!!! Gavin Rossdale and Leona just smashed it. I couldn't believe the turn out. I was really impressed with the Palladium. Really cool lighting and lay out. What a great place to play.

I started off the night with some old school, then went into some of my funky electro tracks. It was really good to see Leona. We chatted for a bit before she went on and I gave her a sweet intro. She sounded like an angel.

Manika "Nikki" Home won the VIP package in SF! She uses a Sidekick Slide - if you're a Sidekick user like Nikki, use your Sidekick to get into the VIP area at the show. All you have to do show your Sidekick at the upgrade lounge. If you don't use a Sidekick, you can text a couple times when you're at the show to win VIP wristbands or you can win a lot of free gear and get the chance to meet one of the artist playing. Pretty easy. I think this next time, I'm gonna do it and see if I win. I wonder if T-Mobile would let me...huh?...

Really excited for San Fran, it's going to be a great show.

Talk to you all soon!

BL

Easter has come and gone. I have finally caught up on some much needed rest and got to spend some quality time with my friends and family. Now it's time to head to San Francisco.

I'm really excited to get into San Fran tomorrow. There has always been this great vibe I've felt when I get there. The Warfield has always been on my list for venues to play, and now I finally get to check it off.

I've never seen N.E.R.D. in concert before, so it will be great to share the stage with them for my first time. I'm stoked to see Natasha Bedingfield in this enviornment. The last time I saw her was in a stadium and I'm a fan of more intimate settings.

I'll be DJ-ing some old school hip-hop and breaks, so if any of you want to request a song while I'm on stage hit me here. www.twitter.com/BlakeLewis

Talk to you all soon!

BL

Quote:
I just landed in SF and I'm freaking out! I love it here. It reminds me of Seattle, except the sun decides to make appearances on the regular. Can I tell you guys how excited I am for tonight? STOKED!!!

I'm going to get my grub on and then head to the venue. Make sure to bring out your Sidekicks. If you have any requests for songs, hit me on twitter. www.twitter.com/blakelewis In between N.E.R.D. and Natasha, I'll be on stage playing some old school breaks and some 80's jams to make you move your feet. Watch out for some singing and beat-boxing as well.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Talk to you all soon!

BL

Last night's GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick show was EPIC!! N.E.R.D. tore the house down. I've been waiting for years to see them and they did not disappoint. Two drummers on stage = huge sound! Natasha Bedingfield added her beautiful soul to the show right after N.E.R.D. and man! We've played a couple shows together and I have to say that this one, was the best I've seen. Her voice is too good. And her arrangements are killer! Super jazzy and sexy. Loved it.

I had fun playing at The Warfield. So much history and beauty. I think last night on a scale of 1 to 167 it was a 143. Hell yes!

Love, Peace and Beats.

Until next time.

GOD DAMNIT he's cute.

More Blogs!
2 more.

Hey boys and gals,

3 more shows to go on the GRAMMY Celebration Concer t Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick. I'm really pumped about this next one. Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga. Two amazing, talented performers that are going to put on a great show. Boston, watch out. I am looking forward to reconnecting with Kelly. We've met a couple times at various Idol shows and it will be great to see her again.

For this show, I'm thinking some good electro pop to start off the night. Be sure to put on your dancing shoes, cause this night is gonna rage until the morning light.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Miami!

Yo guys, what's up? For the GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour show in Miami, I just found out Wyclef is on the bill now. I'm so stoked! We played a couple shows together last summer. It will be great to see him in Florida. I'm really excited to see Katy Perry. I've never seen her live before and I can't wait. I was just in Miami for the Winter Music Conference and the weather is so nice right now. It's time to get a tan for my unnaturally white Washington skin. hahaha.

Well, make sure to bring out your T-Mobile Sidekicks to the show. There's a lot of great prizes and I don't want you guys to miss them. Until then, keep on living the dream.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Blake

Are you ready Boston? Cause I don't think that you are. I know I'm ready for some
T-Mobile Sidekick, GRAMMY, chillin' with the top down action. I don't even know
what that means. Haha. So check it. This show is just around the corner and I'm
freakin' out. I love Boston. I have some amazing friends I grew up with there and
I can't wait to see them.

It's gonna be a PARTY!! Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and yours truly. Don't forget
to bring your Sidekicks, so you can win a chance at meeting these two beautiful
women. Congrats to Robert Ansell, he has already won 2 VIP tickets to the show and
will be able to meet and greet these amazing performers.

Hope you guys are doing great. See you at the show.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Blake

Yayyy, I love Boston to!

Just got in to Boston, about to get my T-Mobile Sidekick/GRAMMY sound check action
going. Really excited to be here today. I had a great weekend in NYC, went record
shopping, recorded 5 songs for my record, saw a couple DJ's and rocked the night
away. Very inspiring weekend, surrounded by good people and their energy, which
has led me to be so pumped for this show tonight!!!!!!!

Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and myself will be rocking it for you all night long.

Hope to see you there. I wouldn't miss it.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Boston came out in full force last night for Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson and myself at the House of Blues. Packed house! It was crazy. Gaga smashed it with her vocals and love for theatrics. She really killed it last night. It was really great to catch up and who knows there might be a possible collab in the future. Looking forward to that.

Its always great seeing Kelly play. She really has some amazing songs and can slay a microphone. People were loving the night. Got a lot of people twittering me throughout the night saying they were loving it and asking me to play some songs. It was really sweet. For all of you that were at the show, I hope you had a great time with myself, The GRAMMYs and T-Mobile Sidekick.

Love, Peace and Beats.

Going back to Miami, Miami... Miami. Haha. Just landed here and it is so nice right now 86 degrees and not too humid. Recovering from an amazing show in Boston. Today I get to prepare my set for Thursday at the Fillmore. The GRAMMYs, T-Mobile Sidekick and I have been having a great time and this week is going to be great.

Kate Perry, Wyclef and I will be live at 8pm, so make sure you bring your Sidekicks for VIP treatment and get ready to have a great time. It's been working out really well if you guys want to Twitter me during the show and I'll play a track for you from the DJ booth. www.twitter.com/blakelewis

Cheers.

Last night was insane!!!!!!!!!! Miami really knows how to throw down and just let loose. I was thrilled to be in South Beach performing at The Fillmore. What a classic space. Wyclef was on first and he smashed it. He always makes you feel like you're at a supe- packed house party. Brilliant. Lots of giveaways and T-Mobile Sidekick users getting free gear. Anything can happen at these shows and it does!

Katie Perry closed out the night with "I Kissed A Girl." She looked and sounded amazing. It was great to finally meet her and see her perform.

I had a great night. Spun more on the house side of things for this show. Miami gotz love for electronic music. They my peeps.

New York, New York..... Whats happenin', people? The NY concert date on the GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick coming up fast and I couldn't be more excited. NYC is my favorite city, besides my hometown of Seattle. Such an amazing vibe and atmosphere. I've very blessed that I get to share the stage with LL Cool J and Estelle, two amazing talents.

This is the last T-Mobile Sidekick/GRAMMY event that I get to be a part of and it's going to be a great one.

Can't wait to see you guys and rock some old school beats.

Love, Peace and Beats - Blake

So last night was amazing!! Estelle and her band were on fire. They played some beautiful music last night!

The highlight of my night was LL Cool J. He really knows how to rock a crowd right and what better crowd to rock than New York - his home, and man did they appreciate the rocking!

I had a great time and I'm sad that it's over. Thanks to all the fans who came out to the GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick and a big thank you to the GRAMMYs and T-Mobile Sidekick for making it happen for me.

Until we meet again...

Love, Peace and Beats
